1. Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required. Please also don't defame the club on other public forums. If you feel the club hasn't done something right, please talk to us.
2. No promotions or spam
Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Keep in mind we are a paddling group after all.
3. No hate speech or bullying
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying or degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, political or sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
4. Reporting incidents
If you are the recipient of, are made aware of, or view, any breaches to this policy, please do one of the following

5. Violations of the rules
Violations will be discussed by the committee. Minor, or first time, infractions will result in a warning or a temporary posting ban. Repeated offences, or more serious ones, may lead to suspension from Edinburgh Kayak Club for a period of up to 3 years.
